OUR STAFF:
Our summer staff understands the importance of being a friend, teacher and a role model. The team is selected for their skills, leadership and sincere interest in the growth and development of young people. Our camp leaders are very experienced in delivering exciting, challenging programs for children and youth. Our summer staff are chosen for their experience or training in the fields of education, child and youth care, or recreation. All our staff have first aid and CPR training, and criminal record checks. We have on-site lifeguards for both camp and out trips.

EARTH ADVENTURES SUMMER DAY CAMP:

Participants of our Earth Adventures Summer Day Camp will enjoy our beautiful property located in Metchosin. The wilderness-based camp offers 98 acres of forest, ponds, trails, and meadows, perfect for exploring and playing games. Some unique features include a climbing tower and low ropes course designed for individual challenges and building teamwork skills. There is an archery range, a back pond for canoeing and a front pond for swimming - a favourite for cooling off in the hot sun.

For decades we have subsidized all of our programming costs to ensure no child is denied access.  With increasing competition and pressures on fundraising efforts, we must try a variety of methods to meet the true costs of operating our summer camp.  The actual cost for a child to attend camp for one week is $283.
Recognizing that different families have different abilities to pay, this year we are implementing a voluntary three-tier fee structure which provides the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true costs of your child’s camp experience.
This program is voluntary and confidential and in no way will influence the children’s experience at camp.
Tier I    – our historical subsidized rate.
Tier II – partial subsidy for those who can afford a little more but have difficulty with the full fee.
Tier III – actual cost of operating program.
