PROGRAM NAME: Millstream Club
   
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Millstream Boys & Girls Club is a licensed facility for children aged 5-12. We offer licensed programs, such as morning care and afterschool care for up to 20 participants at a time. We also offer several evening programs for youth over the age of 8, such as Boys' Group, Girls' Group, Tourch Club, and Youth Leadership.

Our Compassionate and reliable staff take the time to make club a caring and safe place for youth to be. They do so by provifing nutritious snacks, implementing international programming, and forming positive relationships.

Children and youth get the chance to participate in activities such as: active games, arts & crafts, baking, drama, and out-trips, They will also have the opportunities to take part in special interest groups.

PROCESS & FORMS:

To register your child with the Millstream Boys & Girls Club please contact the club coordinator, print the following membership form, complete, and return to the Club, as instructed by the coordinator.

GROUP CHILD CARE-SCHOOL AGE (LICENSED)
   

Our morning care provides a safe supervised place for children to go before school. They have the chance to read, relax, play games, and interact with each others before they are accompanied to their classroom.

Regestered participants in the Millstream Boys & Girls Club have the great opportunity to come to club each weekday after school. Our Compassionate and reliable staff take the time to make club a caring and safe place for youth to be. TIMES & FEES
TIMES: Monday-Friday Morning Care 7:00-9:00 am
Monday-Friday After Care 2:30-5:45*

*Children must be picked up by 5:45 pm.
MEMBERSHIP FEE: A yearly non-refundable membership fee will be required when registering your child with Boys & Girls Club Services. The membership fees are: $25 per child or $45 per family.
LICENSED
CARE FEES:

Morning Care = $135 per month
After School Care = $240 per mont

Part Time or Drop in Fee =

$10 per child for before school care
$15 per child for after school care

Pro D Day Fee = $25

10 days notice must be given prior to the 1st of the month if a spot is being cancelled.

Post-dated cheques or pre-authorized debit/credit must be submitted at the beginning of the school year to cover the yearly payments

Sponsorship applications are available at the club.

SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS
 

GIRLS GROUP
Ages: 8 – 12

Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm
1. October – December
2. January – April

$25/ Session

A fun filled group for GIRLS ONLY! A group that gathers every week to do arts & crafts, baking, play active games, enjoy a nutritious snack, go on out-trips & get to know other girls from all over the West-shore.
This program will be developed around the interests of the ladies involved.
Sessions only hold 20 girls and will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration forms and payment are needed to confirm a spot within the program.

BOYS GROUP
Ages: 8 – 12

Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm
1. October – December
2. January – April

$25/ Session

A group for guys! Get together once a week to  let out some energy, play active games, enjoy a nutritious snack, go on out trips and socialize with boys from all over the West-shore community.
This program will be developed around the interests of the gentlemen involved.
Sessions only hold 20 boys and will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration forms and payment are needed to confirm a spot within the program.

 

CAMPS GALORE
 

*We must have a minimum of 12 Participants to run any of our day camps. Please let us know at the beginning of each month weather or not you would be interested in sending your child for the day! We will notify those registered 10 days in advance if we are unable to run the camp for any reason.

PRO-D DAYS

$25 Fee/ Day
Drop off: 345 Wale Rd 7:00 – 9:00 am
Pick Up: Juan De Fuca Library 4:30 – 5:45 pm

Pick Up: Harbourside – Esquimalt Boys and Girls Club BEFORE 5:30 pm

Come join us for some spring fun while school is out! Children should come each day with a water bottle, lunch, morning snack and come dressed appropriately for the activity planned. Activities will vary depending on the day, but will include a different out-trip each day, as well as chances to participate in activities such as arts & crafts, drama, baking, active games and board games. Schedules will be distributed closer to the date. Contact Club with questions or concerns.

WINTER BREAK


$25 Fee/ Day
December 21 – January 1 
Drop Off: Harbourside – Esquimalt Boys and Girls Club (410 Macaulay St) 7:00 am
Pick Up: Harbourside – Esquimalt Boys and Girls Club BEFORE 5:30 pm

Join the Boys and Girls Club for some winter excitement! Children should come each day with a water bottle, lunch, morning snack and come dressed appropriately for the activity planned. Activities will vary depending on the day, but will include a different and exciting out-trip each day! Schedules will be distributed closer to the date. Contact Club with questions or concerns.

 
ABOVE AND BEYOND- YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS
 

TORCH CLUB
Ages 10-12.

Wednesday 3:30 – 5:30 pm
October – Apri

$55 Fee for the Year

Can't wait to be a youth leader? Youth in Torch Club get a head start on taking a leadership role. The core components include planning socials, volunteerism, fundraisers and acquiring some amazing leadership skills.

 

KEYSTONE CLUB
Ages 13-17

Tuesday 6:00 – 8:00 pm
October – April (Late Entry in January)
April – August (Summer Camp Training & Volunteering)

$55 Fee for the Year

This program is designed for teens interested in developing leadership skills, working with children, obtaining employment skills and having fun. The core components of this course are planning social outings, volunteerism, learning leadership skills and fundraisers. The group also has the opportunity to gain some valuable experience volunteering at our Earth Adventures Summer Day Camp!
