Youth United Anti Bullying Film Festival - Friday, February 24, 2012!

The Community Centre Network is proud to launch a new anti-bullying film contest for youth in Victoria.Film Fest Poster Graphic

The contest challenges youth who attend the network's youth programs to make a 30 second PSA (public service announcement) that creatively conveys an anti-bullying message. All entries will be screened at the film festival event on February 24, 2012, and reviewed by a panel which will include local media personalities.

Judging Criteria

  • Ability to convey an anti-bullying message
  • Creativity/Originality
  • Production Quality
  • Overall Best Film

The winning PSA will be aired on CTV on Anti-Bullying Day (February 29, 2012). There will also be great prizes for the second and third place films.

How to Enter

  • Read the Contest Rules and Submission Guidelines
  • Register at a participating community centre (see contact details below)
  • Create your video (30 seconds in length)
  • Sumbit your video in the correct format, along with your entry form and signed media release forms to the community centre by February 22, 2012
  • Attend the Youth United Anti-bullying Film Festival from 7 - 9 pm on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Harbourside Boys & Girls Club.

Bullying is a serious issue in our schools, work places and other organizations. This is your chance to let the community know why bullying should not and cannot be tolerated. For more information, click here.
