PROGRAM NAME: Praxis

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Praxis is a life-skills based program that utilizes informal education practice. A balance of internal and community work projects, recreation activities and academics are incorporated to meet youth "where they're at."

Praxis is an environment of structured and unstructured activity, using teachable moments to support the development of life skills.

By supporting successes and assets, the goal of Praxis is to build social competency, self-efficacy and positive relationships.

Through a process of connecting plan with action, Praxis meets youth "where they're at" and supports them "where they want to go."
